Pony trekking can be found at centres all over the National Park, the closest to Callander being Rednock Farm, about 20 minutes drive from Callander on the Glasgow road.
Cycling and Mountain Biking
Callander has many safe, traffic free cycling tracks which take you around the countryside. Cycle hire is available in the town.
The Trossachs is a haven for all kinds of walking - hill walking, woodland walks and abandoned railway lines.
Fishing is a very popular pastime in the Trossachs with three fishing rivers within a 2 mile radius and five of six good trout lochs within 20 minutes drive of Callander.
Fishing permits may obtained in Callander. Boats and permits can also be provided by Trossachs Fisheries on Loch Venachar who have fishing rights on four excellent trout lochs.

Crief is surrounded by wonderful scenery and is a great place to have a picnic on the banks of the river.
